How do I schedule my appointment?

Do you accept insurance?
Our team accepts many insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Humana, MetLife, Anthem-BlueCross BlueShield, Guardian, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Need to see if your insurance is accepted? Give us a call and we’ll confirm.

What type of financial support or payment plans do you offer?
If dental insurance isn’t an option, you can always finance your care with our third-party payment provider, CareCredit, or sign up for our dental savings plan, which offers savings on preventative care and other services.

Does your dental office treat children?
Yes, our practice provides pediatric dental services for young patients.

What hours is your office open?
Our office is open Monday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We’re closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Please come to your appointment at least 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.

What do I need for my first appointment?
For your first appointment at ThoroughDent Smiles, please bring your completed new patient forms (accessible here), any previous X-rays you have from other dentists, a valid form of ID, a list of medications you’re currently taking and any medical conditions you have, and your dental insurance card (if using insurance).

How often do I need a dental checkup?
We recommend having a cleaning and checkup every six months. But depending on your specific oral health needs, we may recommend more frequent visits with our team.
