Dental Assistant / EDDA
We are looking for a passionate dental assistant who loves what they do. Do you have a willingness to build trusting relationships with team members and patients while providing the best dental care? If so, then we can't wait to meet you! Our office is an ever-growing, fun and high-tech general dentistry office that aims to improve the smile of every person we see. We offer a wide variety of services at an exceptionally high level of quality.
Qualities Sought:
- 1+ year dental assisting required, prefer 2+ years’ experience
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team

Dental Front Office Business Assistant
If you are outgoing, compassionate, driven and looking to make a difference in people's lives, this role is for you! We are looking for that special someone to add to our front office business assistant team to be the voice of our practice for patients seeking help with their dental concerns. One year of previous dental experience is required. It is also important that the ideal candidate has refined communication skills and a passion to learn and grow with us.
Some of the areas of responsibility for this role will be as follows:
- Greet patients and make them feel welcome
- Answer phones and schedule/reschedule patient visits
- Prepare patients' charts and daily schedules
- Optimize doctor and hygiene schedule
- Conduct follow-up calls to schedule patient re-care/treatment
- Verify methods of payment and collect payments as needed
- Provide patient education/resources related to treatment
- Perform insurance verifications
- Encourage referrals and testimonials
- Perform general office duties

ThoroughDent Smiles is the best!! The staff is very nice and professional. I have been to three cleanings so far and have left very pleased. I’ve had the same dental hygienist both times and she is wonderful! She was not only very thorough at cleaning my teeth but she took the time to remember facts about my life from my first visit! She even had Dr. Smith fill in a tiny chip that was bothering me, which he did an excellent job on. I’ve been to another dentist and he is my favorite by far, and the other staff. Definitely recommend!!

I recently went to ThoroughDent Smiles for my 6-month cleaning and it was such a pleasant experience. The receptionist greeted me with a welcoming smile. My hygienist, Tami was so wonderful! She explained everything she was doing (which I appreciate). Tami pointed out what she saw that I was doing correctly, as well as areas for me to work for better oral health. We've been to a few different dentists through the years in Georgetown and this place is easily our top choice. It's conveniently located with ample parking. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The doctor and hygienist were very knowledgeable and were thorough in their explanations. They were also very helpful and answered any question that I had. Overall the place was clean and had a calming environment. Highly recommend and will definitely be going there every 6 months!
